Great beer, good customers, but the family friendly part falls far short of a typical brewery. Staff needs training in customer service. For example, Stephen (employee) came over to the table we took over from another family and proceeded to strongly & rudely suggest we stop having our kids play in the corner (2 feet from our table). Guess he doesn't like kids or could have handled that better. He ruined my first experience at Port City, because I like the beer there. The other 2 breweries in town (Hellbender & DC Brau) have at least treated our family as though they've had kids in their brewery before. And they have less space to work with than Port City. Stephen turned me off to wanting to order your beer when I saw it on a menu last. Guess bad first impressions can change one's point of view. Too bad, you make a great beer.
