In March I called and spoke with Robert Rosenblatt about an eviction. All courts were closed at the time due to COVID19. My deposit was $1,000. The tenant was served a notice in March. She decided to move out so no eviction was necessary. For months I called about a prorated refund understanding there would be a reduction in my deposit for preparation of the notice and process server expense. Finally In July I was advised that no refund was due. I had a phone conversation with Robert and he offered $300 refund. When I expressed my dissatisfaction he immediately rescinded the offer and said now you get nothing! I requested a detailed invoice to justify keeping $1,000 deposit and he refused. So to anyone out there looking for an eviction attorney - beware!
