I was in Knapps shoe store a week ago and did purchase a pair of winter boots. Boots are great lightweight and comfortable for walking. However the sales staff is of no help at all. On us the second we walked in the door and then 3 sales people stood by watching us.
My daughter searched for sizes and styles and helped me get my orthotics in the boots to try while being watched by the sales people. I thanked my daughter for her assistance, paid for the boots and left shocked at how poor the customer service was. My daughter is a Certified Pedorthist and is always interested in finding shoe stores she can send clients to find good quality shoes and helpful staff. Unfortunately this won't be one of those stores.
