We went for dinner tonight at the griz. Usually it has been pretty good but tonight was atrocious. We had ordered a salad for one of our members and a charcuterie platter for the other three. Our platter arrived relatively promptly, but the salad was about 10 minutes later, having been asked for 2 times from 2 separate servers.

We had ordered a bottle of wine and a soda for our driver. The sever never once asked if we needed another drink, and the wine was gone well before our main course. ( the Soda drinker had to ask more than once for a refill, there was no one checking on drink levels).

When our mains came, after a complaint from one of our table mates, it had been more than an hour since our apps had been served. It was explained at that time it was due to a large party having their order in before us. This would have been nice to know as it would have made the wait more tolerable. We had 4 meals. The pizza was hot and ready to go. The bison burger was overdone, having been requested to be medium rare and arrived dry well done. The 2 prime rib dinners. Medium rare: cold. Well done: served medium.

This all being said, and despite having had good service and food at other times, I doubt I will be returning.
