Chagall: Fantasies for the Stage is an extraordinary exhibit - stunningly beautiful pieces - sketches, paintings, photographs, films, and most importantly, original costumes from four theatrical works (ballet & opera) staged in 40's after Chagall emigrated from Russia with the assistance of the Museum of Modern Art in New York - perfectly exhibited in a manner that remind the visitor that the pieces were designed to move and help tell the story of each ballet/opera, all immeasurably elevated by Chagall's one of a kind artistry.
