I took my dog here because my vet couldn t see her...

I took my dog here because my vet couldn t see her and she had a minor issue that needed attention. It took over 2 hours for someone to even examine her. I completely understand that there are other animals there that have more pressing issues, but I would have liked the option to bring her home and I would have taken her the next day or to her normal vet. Instead of her being anxious and scared that long stuck in a random vets office. After over 2 hours of waiting and saying I can just bring her home, miraculously they found the time to examine her. I then had to wait over another hour for her to be discharged. As I said before I am completely understanding and sympathetic to the animals they treat with more severe illnesses, but the option should have been given to wait or not; or I should have been told from the beginning that it was a busy day and they would not be able to treat her. I did not appreciate putting my dog through that nor did I appreciate waiting almost 4 hours. It just felt like they wanted to make money off of her.
