Having purchased many cars in many different state...

Having purchased many cars in many different states, I can say this experience was not the best. While the sales staff was nice, each part of the dealership is severely segregated and lacking the fluidity you d expect of a brand which was just so recently tarnished by the diesel scandal.

We started with a salesman who knew a lot about the Atlas we were looking at. When we got the numbers, we were very satisfied. Those numbers seemed to change a lot by the time the deal was signed, and not in our favor. Nevertheless, we signed and went on our way with the new car.

Not even a week later, it had a major malfunction. The service department was excruciatingly rude and unhelpful. They actually asked me to come pick my car up because of a conflict between their fix hotline and Volkswagen of America. Somehow, I got dragged through the mud and ended up picking up a broken car.

When Jim Tynan followed up about the purchase, he was completely aloof to the situation. Upon researching the situation, his response was so nonchalant that I was essentially speechless. Only once I completed my VW survey online did he try to call back and resolve the problem.

Avoid this dealership and go to Emich instead. My experience with them has been substantially better so far.
