Still dealing with this after 3 months! I m writing here because this is corporate and I was directed to them after they made our local team (O Fallon, IL) split our shipment up. This resulted in our stuff being delivered almost 2 weeks apart and late! 5 days to be exact. Per our contract, we were owed $500 for being past the no later than date. However, they claim this is overflow and we are owed nothing. According to their website, overflow items are delivered in a van. Well, a semi with over 100 boxes and 5k pounds delivered our overflow . I still do not have a clear answer as to why my stuff was separated, why was it late and why we aren t being compensated? EVERY week since the beginning of January I ve been asking for updates. Which leads me to re-explain our situation over and over. Crickets. We are a military family and we had to pay out of pocket due to late orders and change of assignment. So we have no leg to stand on and TMO can t help us.
Also, so much stuff was broken! We ve moved 10 times with various companies and have never had such issues. They also lost furniture! And pieces to our furniture. So much wasn t boxed and literally rolled off the truck. The parts box was nearly empty. They left screws on tables which resulted in the screws pushing through the top of our table and making 6 punctures that are visable. Delivery day 1 was such a mess as well. I will never use Unigroup/United/mayflower again!
