Awful service. Made an appointment online to have open recalls performed on my car. Apparently, you can only schedule oil changes online (even though there is definitely more than an oil change listed as an option). I got 2 different emails: 1 saying I had made the appointment, and 1 saying that they would call me and let me know that the appointment had been confirmed and it was in their system. Nobody called me even though I scheduled the appointment 5 days in advance. I called Friday morning and was told that having recalls worked on is done on a first come, first served basis and that the appointment I made, was no good. "If I had shown up for my scheduled appointment time, they would have turned me away." Nobody had bothered to call and I was told that it was because if the service guy doesn't check his email on time, he doesn't see that the person has made an appointment. I tried speaking to someone about getting an appointment but was shot down, because "their service department doesn't work that way." I was told that I would have to drop my car off and they would get to it when they could. The problem is that I work at a place that opens at 6:30am, closes after 6:30pm, and requires me to be there at 9pm sometimes. Their shuttle is useless to me as it does not operate during those times. And currently, my roommate is out of the state. I was told I would have to wait for her to get back and bring my car in when she could give me a ride. No one tried to work with me about getting an appointment, even though it would take a very short amount of time to check out those recalls. Sadly, this is the only Chevy dealership in a 30 minute radius. I've highly considered going to Caldwell in order to work with someone else.
