Friday night I went out with my husband to dinner....

Friday night I went out with my husband to dinner. At one time I could not lift my glass. I thought nothing of it. Yesterday morning, I woke up lying on my RIGHT side. My left arm from my elbow down to my hand was totally numb. I could not feel my hand. It took my husband and me 10 minutes at least to shake it out to get some kind of feeling back. Concerning, but went on with my day. Saturday night did a little shopping at Costco. Less than halfway through I was slowing down in walking and needing to lean on the cart. By the end of the trip, I could barely walk. Last night as I'm laying in bed, I feel both my arms going numb, was lying on my back. This morning, Sunday Morning, I wake up and both arms are numb. I get up to go to the bathroom, and I'm stumbling, feeling really dizzy, almost like I was drunk. (Mind you, I don't Drink). My last pain medicaine was at 5:00 the night before. It was out of my system. I was indubably not feeling well. I called the nurse on call for some advise. She advised me to go to St. Josephs ER. Hesitantly I listened. I went. They would not let my husband get me something to eat after being their hours. Ok I can buy that. They sent me for MRI of my blood vessels. THere has NEVER been anything wrong with my blood vessels. I told them that. I also told them exactly what I was feeling. I was still having a hard time walking. I was still dizzy. I told them my back hurt, but my neck did not. NOT at all, NADA, NO, Zippo. I also told them I had not had a headache of any kind in a year. Not at all, NADA, NO, ZIPPO. So they gave me a false diagnosis of cervical sprain and migraine. I specifically told them that I had x-rays show that I have arthritis with bone encroachment in my neck. They would not listen. This is what makes me mad. I will NEVER go back to St. Josephs again. I have NOT been injured, NOR have I had a headache! I have numbness, and dizziness. I will be telling the neurosurgeon about the numbness and dizziness and hope that they listen and not try to give me a phobus diagnosis of something totally unrelated to the symptoms. My question is, do ER doctors really think I'm that stupid?
