It s a surreal experience that has to be done in person to fully appreciate both the historical and visceral magnitude of what is truly an icon of human imagination and ingenuity. Word of advice though, if want to go, plan early, like 6 months early, otherwise you ll get stairs only tickets all the way to the top and have to hike all the way back down again. Not that I should complain, Lord knows I needed the workout, but not everyone is going to be able to make that climb. Especially if you have children or older people in your group.
