I was admitted to A&E and then had to stay on the ENT ward for three days. I have a phobia of having blood taken and was very ill too. The A&E nurses were absolutely amazing as were the nurses on the ENT ward. Every single nurse went above and beyond during my stay. They all deserve medals and huge pay rises! The title of 'nurse' just doesn't do them justice. The doctors were also very good to me as a patient but I do have to say, when they liaised with the nurses, some of their manners were lacking. Speaking to them as 'one would address the help' rather than as a fellow member of the team.
