There was a showing today arranged by Encore Sotheby's. We don't wear shoes in the house. So, I prepared shoe covers for the visitors. I found the associate who brought the family for showing walking around without wearing shoe covers on the tape from a surveillance camera. The person who should have encouraged the visitors to wear shoe covers totally ignored house owner's wish and walked on the floor and carpet wearing outdoor shoes. I expect courtesy and respect from a realtor when I open my house for showing. Professional courtesy and respect for house owners' lifestyle and space. How hard is it to wear shoe covers which were already prepared at the entrance? I find his behavior disappointing and rude.
