On our first day in New Orleans we had lunch at the Commander's Palace. What a wonderful start to our stay. The decor and service was great, and the $0.25 martinis came as a surprise value. We had turtle soup, fresh oyster, a version of oyster's Rockefeller, gumbo, all delicious.This is a must visit for a blast from New Orleans history.
