Got to the appt at 1:10, paid $50 copay, but didn't get seen until 1:25 to 1:30 pm. The therapist was nice but in his assessment, he decided that he or his clinic could not help citing that my patient needed to be more "stable." He gave us a number for another place and didn't offer anything but "thanks for your money and we will charge your insurance for telling us why you came here.
I then called and spoke to someone in the office who kept blaming a third party company to avoid the issues that Clinical Assoc. did not call to remind of the appt., they did not tell us about the paperwork needed, they did not explain that we would be considered "LATE" at 1:10 when our appt was at 1.
That right there showed that we were not going to get good treatment while they were MAD about us walking in at 1:10 pm. for a 1:00 appt.
Many doctors have a a10 to 15 minute window and had we known the time of the appt, we may have gotten there at 1. Regardless, we presented with several problems related to behavior and mental and I basically paid $50 for a phone number.
I'm reporting every experience with mental health providers while helping my patient. I cannot imagine how they can see someone in tears and send them away with a new phone number and a business card.
My recommendation is to find another provider if you or someone you know needs treatment. Or, get as many questions answered up front before the appointment and record the phone calls in case you experience something as greedy as we did. They only want your money and insurance.
