We are locals to So-Cal but you cannot beat this hotel. We live closer to the Ritz, St. Regis (2 minutes from our house) and the Montage but none of them have the classy but laid back feeling of Surf & Sand Hotel. We stay there so much most of the staff knows us by name. Cory, the front desk manager is amazing! He will bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable. Last week my wife and I had a stressful week at work and NOTHING washes away stress like staying here and opening the doors to your balcony and listening to the waves that are 20 feet away all night long. They were almost sold out but Cory found us a room and didn't gouge us on the rate! Will will be back every month :-) From the Valet to the restaurant staff this place is very special and almost a bargain when compared to other resorts around the area.
