A return ticket makes for an unforgettable and long day running up and down the full length of this wonderfully preserved narrow gauge railway. The views of the Animus river and gorge are not to be missed. Silverton is an old mining town full of character and well worth exploring. The staff on the train are informative and friendly. I can't think of anything to fault the day.
