Navutu Dreams was our little oasis in Siem Reap. It was about a 10-minute tuk tuk ride into the middle of town, but far enough away that you really felt like you were in the 'real' Cambodia.

The resort itself had a great vibe - a mix of luxury and local comfort. It wasn't ostentatiously glam, but had a beautiful local feel to it instead. I felt like I could walk around barefoot and not be frowned upon for it.

The grounds themselves were really lush and exactly what you would want of an 'oasis' getaway. There were 3 beautiful pools (which were often very quiet or even empty during my stay) and SO much beautiful greenery (which was very well kept).

As for my room - well that was just gorgeous. I was in one of the grand tour rooms and there was SO much space. It was such a luxury! I loved the little couches at the front of the room that looked out over the pool, and the giant shower with views to the garden was just perfect.

I also did a few yoga/meditation classes while I was at the hotel and the classes were brilliant. They were either really small or private classes and Amit was such a great teacher.

All in all, my experience at Navutu was a very comforting and special one and the resort would come as highly recommended
