Hospitality is nonexistent in the hotel. The front desk staff except for one nice lady were rude and untrained. They don't have the attitude that the guests' needs are important.

The hotel does not have a pool but they offer to transport you to another pool at one of their properties. Boy, was that a needless hassle. They created such red tape for this - nothing easy or smooth about this. Though concierge was nice. The problem was consistently with front desk.

It took me two hours to get a bucket of ice. The ice machine on my floor was broken for two days and those on other floors were not producing ice. A bellhop asked me if I needed help, I told him I needed ice, he told me to go to another floor, I told him that it this point I wanted someone to bring me some, and he said "that's not going to happen!" Then I spent a good thirty minutes on the phone attempting to get ice. Managers were always at lunch or in a meeting. I was out on hold several times during this one request for ice.

And don't call the customer service hotline number appearing in the lobby along with a smiling general manager picture. No one answers.

The rooms are old and shabby but that would not have been an issue if not for everything else that made this place unpleasant. They don't seem to that hotels are supposed to get nice to their customers
