DO NOT DEAL WITH MINT360PROPERTY. THEY ARE LIARS AND WILL USE SCARE TACTICS TO TRY AND EXTORT MONEY FROM YOUR BOND.

We were first time renters and they thought we would be easily manipulated. We moved in to an apartment in 2016 which they told us was cleaned and fumigated, and fumigation happens once a year. We moved in and the apartment was contaminated, with lots of mould, cockroaches, dust, dirt, and even old clothes, tiles and dog bones were found. We asked them to clean this and this was ignored, they said that they couldn't confirm any mould growth, even after we showed them pictures. The fumigation was also a lie, as we lived there for a year and a half and no yearly fumigation was ever performed.

Now that we have moved out, we wished to get our bond back. We cleaned the apartment and had it fumigated, but they wanted to re-clean a few spots and quoted us $150, then sent us an invoice for $400 for a full clean which we never agreed upon. They also didn't accept our fumigation that was performed by a local fumigator and wanted us to pay for a new one. They also started to add on costs like replacing light bulbs that were missing before we even started our tenancy.

We went to Legal Aid and found out that according to our agreement, we only had to leave it as clean as it was when we started the tenancy, and submitted a claim to get our bond back. They then contested and tried to use scare tactics to get us to withdraw, but backed with a lot of evidence we did not. On the day of the tribunal, we found out that they withdrew their application that morning, and when we went to try to get the form signed to complete the bond return, all of their agents were "on leave".

TLDR: We have had an extremely horrible experience with MINT360Property. We have been lied to, and had scare tactics used on us to try and extort more money from our bond. As first time renters we were easy targets, but through Legal Aid, research and being prepared, we made sure that we wouldn't be another victim of their horrible practices
