We received an invitation to visit for a timeshare...

We received an invitation to visit for a timeshare presentation and would receive $250 gift card with a 2 night stay to use i the future. The presentation was only supposed to be 2 hours but took almost 4 just to get back to the conference room where they throw their best sales pitches at you.

The room we were shown was dated, musty, and very unimpressive. The bed was horribly hard. The kitchen was nasty with very old utilities. The bathroom tried a little harder with a jet tub, but I have a nicer one at home. Typically you want to stay somewhere nicer than your own home - this would be a major down grade.

The outdoor water park looked like a sad broken down and deserted theme park from the 90s that was never kept up. The indoor park looked a bit nicer but quite small. I've seen a lot better ones. The skiing would probably be the only perk for me, but either way you have to pay additional fees to use any of these facilities even with the timeshare so what's the point?

Coming back to the main area, they sit us down and try to sell us a timeshare. We were trying to be polite and just let them know we couldn't afford it but they wouldn't take no for an answer. Told them we didn't make brash decisions and would think about it - still wouldn't accept that. They continuously tried different tactics but we finally were able to get across that we weren't interested. It was at that point the man got up from the table after signing for our gift card AND THREW HIS CHAIR. I was so happy we didn't buy at that point if that's the kind of attitude they have.

Five and half hours later we finally left with our gift card and 2 night stay. We never used the 2 night stay. I never wanted to deal with them again.
