Pleasant eager staff and volunteers helped me find, adopt and learn about the needs and nature of my very first cat. An adoption counselor gave me great (effective) advice on how to introduce my playful dog to our new member of the family - a tuxedo cat with white feet - Boots. Cat & dog got along famously.. playing together, sleeping together. Boots would even groom her canine sister. (BTW, my dog is a rescue as well.) A special thank you to the Humane Society of SW WA for completing our family.
