I have stayed in 3 bedroom suite with my parents, and my family at Discovery Suites in 25 ADB Ave, in Ortigas Center in first week of June for 5 days. Initial welcoming was the only part that could be better as i did not feel i was welcomed by the front desk as they seem to be busy doing their own things. Upon my 30 minute early arrival from New York, my room wasn't ready and they told me, they will call my parents mobile phone when it becomes ready read. But i never received call and i told myself, "this hotel stay maybe regretful" . But when i entered the my 3 bedroom suite rooms were spacious and had an excellent air conditioning. In the morning, we went down to the fifth floor for breakfast buffet and we were greeted well by Hoonie, breakfast restaurant manager and her staffs(Joan) who had nice smiles, I had observed carefully if they were just superficial, but they were genuinely attentive to needs of every customer in the breakfast area and provided an excellent service .Also, house keeping did a great job by making up the rooms in prompt manner and catering to our special requests( needed safety pins and nail clipper). Finally, security personnel directing the traffic by the hotel drive way during the afternoon did an amazing job assisting every guests especially my handicap parents. Staff, like them truly represents great image about the hotel, not to mention, Philippines.
Normally, i do not write reviews when my stay is" ok or good" but i felt this review was necessary for future guests and hotel personnel, who needs be recognized.
