Ordered a laptop which was never delivered. For six weeks I called and emailed daily trying to get an explanation or refund, but was ignored and hung up on. I had to open a PayPal dispute before they acknowledged me (which still somehow took them another week.)

They told me that my money - which I had borrowed, and was paying interest on - would be refunded within the next couple of days. It took another week. I never recieved any compensation for the fact they took my money for almost two months, or really an apology.

I understand things are weird right now, but theres no staff shortage/delivery difficulty/etc. which can justify taking a customer's money without delivering the product. It's theft. I wasn't able to work or earn for months, while still paying interest on a loan which laptops direct had taken from me. I have had to rely on food banks and charity from my family, and I'm not sure how long it will take my career to recover from such a long, unexplained absence.

Avoid Laptops Direct!
