Dr. Elam is wonderful. He tells you like it is and is not afraid to be upfront with you. I had emergency surgery when I was pregnant and it was very scary- I did not realize at the time but Dr. Elam's direct approach really helped my husband and I cope with everything. We were able to way all options and because of his direct approach nothing came as a surprise. I feel that Dr. Elam truly cared about me and what I was going through. He is extremely talented, so yes his bed side manner is not nurturing but the man knows what he is doing! He saved my life.
