First time I came here was about 5 years ago for a concert, the last time was for a comedy show and each time my experience has been awesome.

I'm not sure if I'd call it an intimate or cosy venue, like Jazz Cafe, but you definitely feel as though you are very close to the performers. I think it's the height of ceiling that changes the feel because in terms of size, Union Chapel isn't very big which is a compliment really. That being said, I've never been seated upstairs so I'm not sure how different things feel from the balcony.

As a music venue, the acoustics are fantastic so the sound completely fills the space in the best way possible. If you do get the chance to see a music performance there, you won't be disappointed.
