So, you want to play guitar or bass and you don't want just anyone working on your axe right? You want the best Luthiers in Dallas on your gear. You want the most knowledgeable and the most honest, with the correct price too? Look absolutely no further than here. I came in Christmas eve here and had an entire corner of the shop to myself with Reece bringing in and out guitars for my beginner self to try out (holy wow I was bad, luckily it was a sound proof room!) he was so patient and literally knew exactly how the guitar's were made from each factory and what options I could get for the tone I wanted.
I took what I knew from the internet (actually knew a decent amount for a beginner I must say so myself), combined it with Reeces experience and knowledge and now have a guitar I'll play the rest of my life.
One last thing: so that was in December and I still had the factory set up (shout out to ESP for having great factory settings!) and Reece said take it back in for a set up on the house since I bought it there. I took it in today to be set up three months later (I didn't want to give it back even for one day lol!) and they incorrectly charged me unknowingly. Other places would've made a deal of it, but instead Tone Shop does what? They thanked ME for telling them, and for buying my guitar there. Yeah, set ups are usually on the house but this is the customer service that makes you come back and write long reviews about. I love this store, and the best thing I did in years was walk in. Thanks guys

Initial reciew: Best guitar shop in Dallas, if they don't have what you want you can have it ordered. Phenomenal guitar techs, and great service. The hours can be annoying but call ahead and they will stay open a little later if needed. Thanks tone shop! have edited my review three months later after spending even more time and money
