A grand museum dedicated to Ukraine during the Second World War was inaugurated on May 9, 1981. The huge complex is more than 10 hectares in size. However, the most striking object of the museum is the statue of "mother-home". Their height without platform to the point of the sword - 62 m, the total height - 102 m, weight - is about 500 to.
