I will never ever visit Harborside again. They are the most over hyped, over priced dispensary around. I can get bud off the street that is 10 times better quality than their "lab" tested strains. I had no problem with the employees. They were very friendly and eager to help. I normally visit the one in Oakland, but I was in San Jose picking up a friend at the airport and decided to stop by since I had never been to the San Jose location. What I'm most upset about is that I purchased several clones and 1 clone (Key Lime Pie) is now infested with spider mites. The other clones are fine. I am new to growing and should have known what to look for when I was purchasing the clones so I'm also at fault. Because my son who is an avid grower told me the day I brought it hope that it had spider mites. But you would think that a business as well known as Harborside would not sell clones infested with spider mites. I called Harborside to tell them about this and their response at first was "we can't talk about this over the phone, come to our location and we can talk about it here." I told the guy I live in Modesto, 2 hours away, I'm not driving to San Jose to "talk" about the problem. All I am doing is NOTIFYING you so that you don't sell these clones to others. Then he puts me on hold and tells me to bring the plant in, leave it in my trunk and they will give me a replacement. So I'm supposed to drive 2 hours there, 2 hours back for a $12 clone? It will cost me at least $40 in gas. Terrible customer service. They could have offered me store credit for my next visit, anything but asking me to drive for 4 hours. I will never purchase anything from Harborside again.
