**Rip Offs and Lies**. It's the same old park, the only thing new are the gimmicks. Six Flags over Texas is in bad repair, promoting aggressive sales tactics and poorly explained deals with rude employees.

Standard paid parking has been moved to the back to make room for more expensive, reserved parking options; be prepared to drop the family at the designated areas in front and walk 3/4 mile, past empty reserve lots to the gate.

New Seasonal 'Membership' passes require a 12 month subscription and cost up to $240 per season ea plus a $20 set up fee.

If you buy a food pass, read the fine print. Each option is expensive and has strictly prohibitive options, segregated time slots and blackout periods that exclude 3.5 hours of meal pass usage when the park is open.

$20.99ea seasonal drink cups also DO NOT include all beverages. Many refills only get a very slight discount and some you will just pay full price. Also, you can't take them on rides so they make you put your seasonal drink cups in designated cubbies, but no one watches the cubbies and cups get stolen. No replacements offered.

Flash passes are THE WORST. You can spend an additional $500 per day for a family of four using this overpriced offer. Some options are $200 but are still more expensive than Disney World.

We spent $900 for three of us and not one of these important details were ever disclosed. We will use our passes and never come back. Sea World has a better maintained park, reasonable Flash Passes and easy food options that are worth the price.

Buyer beware. Six Flags May have figured a way to temporarily stay out of bankruptcy, but you will pay for it and they will again go bankrupt if they don't figure this stuff out.
