In my mind one of the greatest attractions in the US. I have ridden the Durango to Silverton railroad twice, and both times were among my most cherished memories.

My one suggestion is to pay the extra money and right in the parlor car, which is the enclosed car. It is a much better experience and well worth the extra money.
