I've been used as a research subject 3 times so far. I really enjoy helping. I've had excellent experiences each of the first two times. The last time, however, the session manager, a young woman, was condescending and frankly, rude. She cut me off, and dismissed my comments, so after about 3 times, I didn't participate any more. If she doesn't want to have an open, honest discussion I'm happy to sit there listening, not participate, and walk out with a little extra cash. Their loss.

BTW, she did tell me to shut up once, too. Not in those words, of course, but it was obvious she needs a new line of work, like stocking shelves at Walmart in the middle of the night where she doesn't have to contact customers.
