First off let me say as far as I am concerned Eagle Rock is a total scam. As several people here have noted thery totally lie about gift cards. My experience is that I had a piece of property with them that I was paying fairly significant taxes on (undeveloped) so I decided to switch to a condo timeshare. In doing so I was provided a gift card as an incentive supposedly worth $3,000 and had a time limit of 2 years. I think it was to be in lieu of my equity in the property. Well I used the gift card several times for diiners for myself, my wife and another couple.I also used it once for a spa visit. Around the 4th time of use at the restaurant I was told that the gift card was no longer any good. That started the nightmare. First I was told that they would never have issued a card for that amount and then after many back and forths they told me that the card had expired. (It had not at the time of the initial incident, not even close as it was less than a year since issued). I was now living in Arkansas and was mainly playing phone tag with the liars. Supposedly they were going to contact corporate but never did. I found the original letter stating that I was indeed issued a gift card for $3000 and sent them a copy. I rarely could reach anyone concerning this or if I did they stonewalled me. I also attempted to use my timeshare for a visit back to PA. a few years back and was told I couldn't because I wasn't eligible that quarter. So I have a timeshare that I really couldn't use anyway unless it's when they specify. I am now in the process of working with my lawyers to issue a lawsuit against them.
