Do not trust the staff of this facility to do their jobs. If they refer you somewhere and specifically tell you its due to them taking your insurance, do yourself a favor and check personally. I drove 40 miles to find out my insurance wasn't accepted by the facility they referred me to after being specifically assured by Family Health Care staff that it was the whole reason for the referral's location. I trusted that this individual did their job.

I lost money from gas, copay, and time off work and now have to start this process from scratch. When I spoke to the Family health care staff again did i receive a "sorry" over the inconvenience due to their mistakes? No, I was told it's my fault and that I need to do the legwork and check the insurance since they cant find anywhere to refer me to now.

They say this is a common mistake yet did not warn me or advise me before wasting half a days pay and gas. A simple phone call or warning could have saved me a lot of inconvenience, but the staff doesn't even take responsibility for their mistakes or try and make them right. DOUBLE CHECK EVERY REFERRAL, cause this staff wont. Very unprofessional.
