A gem. I've been going to the free seats since I could first walk and have seen many, many shows here.
Buying tickets for close seats is great too of course, but what a wonderful thing the free seats are. It helped develop a love and appreciation of musicals and live shows.
I've seen concerts here too, and they've been great.
The talent, scenery, effects (real helicopters & fireworks) and ambiance are unmatched. Yes, Broadway is a wonder, and I've loved every show I've been lucky enough to see there, but sitting beneath the summer stars and listening to Rodgers and Hammerstein for $40 or even free ... you can't beat that.
