While some students at Logan River Academy originally struggle to form positive and healthy relationships with authority figures upon arrival, it is clear that the staff, therapists, and teachers care an immense amount. These relationships help students form trust, allowing them to open up and start the treatment they need. It is clear that one main focus amongst the staff and therapists at Logan River Academy is to keep students safe taking time to process with students in distress, or mentor students in order to understand them better are staples at the institution. At Logan River, students work directly with staff who are directly affiliated with the university, who encourage students to attend education after high school. They meet other students from other locations and form friendships and bonds by way of shared life experiences and common interests.
Staff work hard to talk to students, maintain healthy boundaries, and remind them of their self-worth so that they have great success when they leave.

If you are a skeptical parent reading this review, I can assure you that if you truly feel your child needs treatment, there are fewer places I would recommend higher than Logan River. In my personal experience, I can guarantee that whether your child hits, yells at, spits on, or attempts to harm a staff member, teacher, or therapist, they will still come back the next day ready and willing to help your student. Staff and therapists who work at Logan River Academy do so out of pure love, compassion, and hope that they can make even a small difference that will help the future generation of this country succeed.

As an instructor at the University in Logan, I can say that I would warmly welcome any student from Logan River into my class, and I would do so with the most confidence in their ability to succeed due in part to the tools for learning, living and maintaining healthy relationships that they receive at Logan River.
