Plitvice Lakes National Park is a must visit natio...

Plitvice Lakes National Park is a must visit national park in Croatia. It is located between Split town and Zagreb city. The public transportation is slightly difficult to Plitvice as it will stop at a normal bus stop by the roadside as compared to a bus station.
Note that the ticket counter/entrance and the online ticket redemption counter are located at different buildings. Do proceed do the other counter to redeem your online tickets before entering Plitvice.
There is a luggage storage area, which is free-of-charge and is located near the entrance. Please store your food stuff as there are rodents or small animals that would come and chew your food left in the storage.
We took the C route in the Plitvice lake that starts off from the entrance 1 and back to entrance 1 via the train which runs within the compound. It is recommended to bring umbrella or poncho when it is raining because there are not much shade within the national park. There is a big waterfall located near entrance 1. The routes around the park are literally built of woods, which are narrow (about 2 persons back and forth) and would be slightly slippery when raining. The routes are not friendly for wheelchair or stroller. Also do properly plan out for the boat trips which are scheduled at every 30mins.
