We live in a neighboring community, and specifically started worshipping at Pax Christie BECAUSE of the contemporary way in which they worship! I grew up with Latin, statues, incense, etc. Never knew what I was saying, only memorize, memorize, etc. Was just beginning to feel joyful, and uplifted with a little bit of new music in our parish, then bam, statues, communion kneelers, Latin, LATIN!!!!! Most of the young people didn't know what hit them! I got tired of feeling as if I were at a funeral every Sunday! Tried Pax, and have been coming ever since!!! It's the most joyful celebration of our Lord and life !! And the emphasis on justice, the music, we've never felt closer to God! Please don't stop doing what you are doing!
