I just had knee replacement surgery at Shady Grove
The surgery center was outstanding. Every single person was positive, helpful and accommodating. In particular Catherine and Xena (sp?) who were the surgery nurses assigned to my care were so wonderful. They really made this procedure so much more bearable. These two deserve some special recognition. Clearly the surgery unit has very good standards, likely good quality control and supervision. It is also very refreshing to notice how positive the nurses and other staff interact with one another. In the middle of a surgical unit and world wide pandemic this really stands out.
