We had a service warning come up on the dash and took the car ( a 2011 M3) in and left it for 3 days over a weekend. They somehow screwed up the lid to the ashtray so it wouldn't close. We've been trying to make a same day appointment to get it fixed for several days.

When we telephone, there is never a service person available to speak with us. Finally, after many tries, I got through to one. He asked who my usual person to deal with was. I told him. He said he was going to transfer the call. He cut me off. Nobody called back. The next day we tried calling again - all service representatives were again too busy to take my call.

We were going to buy a new M4, but the Sonnen service department may cause us to go to an Audi or Porsche.
