Their web site makes NO mention that, if a patient meets the requirements, it's NOT necessary to have an in-person office consult before getting a colonoscopy. The appointment receptionist doesn't mention that possibility either (even when asked). Once you arrive (& it's too late), the front desk displays the brochure about the "Open Access Screening" and the prerequisites for patients to avoid being billed for a needless office consult.
