Someone has put so much thought into every stage of this business. That person should probably go on to become king of the world.

I've been wanting (what I discovered were called) festoon lights for my small back yard for a long while - what had been putting me off was the price, and some vagueness about where and how I would power them.

But one look at Lights4Fun's website and all became clear: the price was good, but more importantly, it was ultra-clear what accessories I'd need to get them alight. In my case that was a small solar panel (my first ever solar panel -whee! Now if only the sun would come out) and a battery pack for non-sunny days.

Everything is coded so that you can be absolutely sure that you are buying products that will actually work together.

Ordering was also easy; the lights arrived without a hitch; the instructions are actually written in good English (and the fonts are nice.. if that sort of thing matters to you).

So that was all great - but when I put them up I had some confusion about the various settings. "I wonder if they do support on Twitter" I thought.

They do. Really good, fast support. And now my lights are up and I can rest easy knowing that there's at least one company in the world who knows how to do excellent customer service. Everyone else take note.
