I helped a dog out of his abusive home (he was starving in a small kennel in his own filth) and I surrendered him to this shelter in hope they'd find him a forever home, multiple family members of the abusive owner called and asked to please not allow the owner to buy him out of the shelter, because by the law the shelter has to advertise the dog since i was not the owner. Well they let him go with the owner and 3 days later the dog died. NOT HAPPY. It did not go unnoticed that this dog needed out his nose was rubbed raw trying to escape his kennel.
