If you want an authentic Irish pub in NYC I'd say go here. Very historic and almost Ground Zero for 9/11. It served a lot of first responders once it reopened, and has tons of patches from first responders (and others) from around the world hanging from every surface. Despite being in Financial District of lower Manhattan it gets quite an eclectic crowd, from regulars to after-work suits. Didn't try the food but no complaints about the beer.
