Watch you step at Highlands! Make sure your MD & Psych docs compare meds with each other! I checked myself in & when the 48 hour hold was over , they forced me to sign in for how ever long they wanted to keep me. To top it all off, the over does me for three days & mixed meds that were not to be mixed then I came down with what I now know was , Vasculitis & I could not walk for three days! They did NOTHING at all about this. Refused to give me the med list ( nurse snuck it to me ) and sent me a bill for over 110.0000 !
Needless to say, That bill will never be paid!
Look at the review summary ! 2.9 stars ? Would you want you child or for that case ANY family member in this hell hole?

At one point , they had me so drugged up that I could not stay awake in group & the group leader yelled out, " Do us all a favor & get her the hell out of here . Her snoring is disrupting this group! " Yea thats what people do when they are o.d. ing ! It is not snoring however, it is gasping for air !
This place KNEW they were in trouble & what they did to me was WRONG. When that second bill came , I called & told them, "If I get one more bill from you , I will sue for that amount twice"! I never got another bill. What does that tell you?
You are better off at Porter or EVEN Denver Health ! At least THEY monitor drugs!
