We haven't been since my his and and I were kids (both born and raised here ) and this was my 4 and 6 year olds first time, there were alot of animals that weren't there due to the weather, which was expected but still fun. The only downfall that we didn't like was the fact that the elephants had to do tricks to get treats we are animal lovers of all kind and understand that most if not all were rescue as well as bred In order to save the species, but it was a bit hard to watch, although more humane then say a circus which we will never attend or support but nonetheless a bit heartbreaking, other then that it was definitely worth the faces on my kids and the education they endured was amazing and very much important!! Will be returning in the spring when some of the new exhibits are finished and more of the animals and babies return for the warm weather!!!
