I booked our King room through Expedia at a pretty good rate for a getaway this weekend because of the location. We wanted to be between Rehobeth Beach and Ocean City, and have a fondness for Bethany Beach as well. The hotel is right on Coastal Highway which was perfect. They have ample parking and some of the spaces are covered, which was awesome since it was raining and very cold outside. The elevators are just across from the front desk and our 3rd floor room was easy to get to. The hotel seems a little on the older side and in need of some minor repairs based on the room we stayed in. I really liked the layout of the room. The heat worked very well, the water pressure in the shower was great and there was plenty of hot water. It was off season so I'm not sure if it would be different with a full house. The room was clean and the towels smelled of Clorox so I was confident they were clean, although not all that soft. The king bed was really hard, so I was in a lot of pain upon waking. I don't do well with hard beds. The pillows were awesome though. The floor lamp almost fell over when I went to turn it on, and the coffee table had a broken leg and wasn't very stable. The TV was pretty dark and had no picture setting. I think it might be dying. It was also pretty small for a hotel room tv. I think they need some upgrades. The refrigerator worked well. We didn't need to use the microwave. There was an iron and ironing board in the room, blow dryer, and a nice little desk and chair which came in handy. The hotel has an indoor pool and a restaurant as well but we didn't have time to check them out. Over all, the place was quiet, clean and not as pricey as some of the others, so I would definitely stay there again. Oh, and the ice machine on our floor actually worked and had lots of ice! The last couple of hotels I stayed in seemed to have problems with theirs so I thought I would mention that.
