Spent 13 hours in here with my mum for my birthday. We had a great time! We particularly enjoyed the hydro pool, the outdoor Jacuzzis and pool. We were lucky enough to have the last of the summer sun on a quiet day. We ate lunch and dinner in the resturant. Lunch was a buffet as part of a package. It was pleasant with a good selection. Dinner was off the menu, it was also very nice. Great sauna and steam rooms, nice and hot and spacious. They had glass fronts so you don't feel claustrophobic. I braved the ice pool afterwards, which was surprisingly exhilarating and i did not expect to like it at all. I had the best reflexology treatment of my life. I've had a fair few and also practice it myself, so I'm probably pretty hard to please. Therapist was sensational, i wish i could remember her name so i could sing her praises! Massage was ok, my mum said her's was also just ok. However we both still enjoyed our treatments.
I marked the Spa down two stars because it lacked a few finishing touches. For example, square sheets of toilet paper instead of roll, no toiletres in the changing rooms or towels to hand. The toilets and showers were a little unclean and cramped. The temperature throughout the building varied greatly and i often found myself cold. The pool with the twinkling lights in the dome roof was lovely but had floor to celling windows over looking the car park. It does need a bit of updating throughout with perhaps some warming touches here and there. Also, we were booked in for the Mud Rasul with full body exfoliation an hour before the dead sea salt flotation pods. Needles to say our skin felt like it was on fire. Considering they advise you not to so much as shave your legs 24 hours before the flotation pool, perhaps booking us in follwing exfoliation wasn't such a good idea.
I will go back though but do things a little differently.
