Ace hardware practices in bad faith. Sold me a product at a discount online, emailed me to pick up and then refused to release the actual item when I showed to pick up curbside. Stated that it was a glitch in their promo codes and item should have been excluded. News flash -- you sold the item, honor it. Also note -- ACE is a huge corporation and it was a $5 discount on the item, it wouldn't have put them in bankruptcy and probably worth customer loyalty and satisfaction. Given the significant inconvenience, I would never shop at ACE for future purchases and will definitely share my experience with others.
