My husband and I recently went to Honda to purchas...

My husband and I recently went to Honda to purchase two vehicles. One they had in stock and the other they would transfer from another Hendrick store. As it was Saturday on Memorial day weekend and the car needed to have the brakes done we agreed to come back Tuesday after memorial day with our trade in, cash and financing for one vehicle. Tuesday we traded in a truck and paid the remaining due in cash for the car we drove home. We were told the other vehicle would likely be in Wednesday. Our financing was in order for the second vehicle (a truck) and mailed to the dealership already. Friday..no Truck...Saturday...no truck. Saturday night they called and told us to come by Sunday. Sunday we went and decided to go another route. They assured us the check wasn't there from the bank yet (although it was signed for Friday) and that when it arrived it would be shredded. We found another truck and called the bank Monday...(this is more then a week later) to our surprise the dealership cashed the check! No Purchase order...no paperwork..and they still had the vehicle. We were then told they would overnight it back to the bank Monday. Wednesday the bank had nothing. We went back to Hendrick- They refused to release the funds they (in essence STOLE) back to the bank in case the bank canceled the check! On top of that they never mailed the payoff for the first vehicle we traded in 10 days before! SO here I sit..No Truck...With interest accruing on two loans for vehicles we don't have. This is SHADY, and poor business. They wouldn't write a check for a vehicle they don't have so why cash a check for a vehicle you didn't sell...and then refuse to refund the money for 10 days? We aren't talking about inexpensive vehicles..the loans total $60000. We're filing complaints with the BBB and making our case known on social media. The credit union said they have never dealt with a more unprofessional business before.
